Once you are ordered to wear a SCRAM CAM or have been sentenced to an EHM commitment and the court has approved you to serve your term with a private agency, you must call D&P Electronic Home Monitoring to setup an appointment to have your installation completed within the time given and provide the following:
- Driver’s License or Identification Card
- Any court documents pertaining to your case
- Probation officer’s name and contact information
- Attorney’s name and phone number
- Two weeks payment upfront
- Must have access to a Landline, Ethernet or Wi-Fi
- Employer name and contact information
- Provide verifiable employment work schedule
House Arrest - Installation & Setup
If you have been court ordered for House Arrest, then you will be allowed to travel to and from work, attend court dates, AA meetings, treatment, and any other court obligations.
- An agent will explain and clarify the SCRAM CAM and EHM participant agreement before you sign it.
- The agent will attach the SCRAM or House Arrest bracelet to your ankle.
- The agent will go over all the rules pertaining to your monitoring. After installation enrollment will be sent over to the court.
Alcohol Monitoring - Client managment
For court ordered alcohol monitoring only, we will install a device that can detect any alcohol consumption to ensure you follow your program.
- D&P will review daily reports and promptly notify authorities of any confirmed non-compliance and violations of your participant agreement.
- This agency will perform equipment maintenance, client support, fee collection, and unit removals.
House Arrest & Alcohol Monitoring
For clients who require both house arrest and alcohol monitoring it's important to follow all rules and remain accountable for all of the following:
- Be near the base station at the agreed times to enable data downloads and home confinement verification.
- Do not consume alcohol-NONE
- Do not tamper with, obstruct, or damage SCRAM CAM or House arrest equipment.
- (CAM) Alcohol Based Product Avoidance: Do not expose the area around the bracelet to personal, household, or industrial products that contain alcohol.
- Make sure the devices is fully charged every night by charging for the time said by your agent during install (If court requires two bracelets).
- Travel: While on EHM or SCRAM CAM traveling is permitted with prior court approval; it is your responsibility to arrange a landline, Ethernet or Wi-Fi connection to keep the functions of your base station in working order.
